TGS 09 Studs an Duds
Hello guys, girls and ghouls! Just been keeping an eye on the TGS this year and I think I will share my opinions with you on whats big and not so big.
Stud – Bayonetta
From the orginal creator of DMC is going to show us how to kick ass and look sexy at the same time. Yea it looks like the gameplay style of DMC but after playing the lackluster DMC4 I figure the creator of DMC is ready to show gamers how its done.
Dud -Ninja Blade
OK 360 has Ninja Gaiden, do they really need another ninja game with great graphics and boring gameplay? Oh! Forgot, we were talking about the 360. So I guess the answer is yes (sign).
Stud – No More Heros 2
Suda 51 must have a real love for this game to even think of a sequel. A good game for otaku gamers that love anime, wrestling, blood, sex, and lightsabers. All this sequel has to do is improve on what was weak about the first game and Suda scores another hit.
Dud – White Knight Chronicles
It was shown at last years TGS but not playable. Then a year later with only a few months to go before release and there is still no playable demo? ALERT!!!! Games that are not shown to be playable the media or public means one of two things. One its so bad they dont want people to play it and lose gamers money. Or second is the game is gonna kick ass so much they dont even need to try to intise people to play a demo.
Stud – Street Fighter 4
As many people know I really dont like SFIV. To me its just another SFII clone that introduces new characters that belong in KOF or if you follow the cannon stories should be dead. However, with that said I have gone from “not gonna touch it with a 5ft pole” to ” I might try to rent it”
Dud – Resident Evil 5
OK, I know lots of people are gonna get pissed at me for this but I just am not feeling RE5. I love the hell out of RE4. That was one of the few games I give an awsome review. However, RE5 just feels likes its trying to be more action, drama, then a survival horror game. The African female sideckick is only a Capcom scapegoat from the controversy that was going on a year ago and now they have made Weskers into some kinda Super villan bent on world domination.
